Spring Break is breaking down

March 18, 2005

I’ve been stuck here in Bloomington for the last couple of days, but I’ve managed to get a few things done. Somehow, it’s just harder to work when the place is a ghost town, and nobody is breathing down your neck for progress reports. However, I did come up with some great references for my paper. I spent a couple of days trying to figure out where my project fits into the scheme of research, what it’s similar to, and arguments that other researchers are making against it. I hope that whoever reads the final paper will be kind, as I’m sure that I haven’t dug up everything out there. However, I think I have enough to make a cogent argument, and to back that up by showing a manifestation of my argument in practice at a concert. There’s still no solid word on a venue, and I’m hoping that I’ll be able to have one and do a show while everyone’s still around. I’m going to try to write and fix a couple of things on the controller in the meantime.
